Fire + Life Safety announces the opening of a branch in Amherst, Nova Scotia, its first in the Atlantic Provinces. The company’s newest branch is led by </span><span>Ryan Rees</span><span>, a second-generation fire and life safety professional with deep roots in the region. </span></p> <p><span>“This is an exciting and significant milestone for our company,” said Mike Farren, CEO of Classic Fire +Life Safety. “As a proudly Canadian company, opening a branch in Atlantic Canada has been on our minds for years. We are delighted to embark on this new adventure with Ryan, who shares our passion for this region and the work that we do.” </span></p> <p><span>Born in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia, Ryan developed an appreciation for fire safety at a very young age, watching his father build a successful fire sprinkler business. After the passing of his father in 2006, Ryan grabbed the reins of the family business and remained in the industry through various roles at different fire safety businesses in the region. </span></p> <p><span>“I am incredibly excited and honoured to have been invited to help build Classic’s business in the region,” said Ryan. “As a boy, I watched my father build our family business from the ground up. Having the opportunity to do the same is something that is very personal for me. I thank Classic Fire + Life Safety for their trust in me, and I look forward to what’s next.” </span></p> <p><span>The branch is scheduled to open in February and is expected to be an operational hub for the region.
