We are looking to expand our team of Sprinkler Fitters and Apprentices to install the sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
Q. HOW LONG WILL CLASSIC BE WORKING ON THIS PROJECT?
A. The project will be approximately 3 years. Early work began in October 2024, with substantial completion expected sometime in the spring of 2028.
Q. DO I NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF THE SPRINKLER UNION TO BE HIRED BY CLASSIC?
A. NO! We will help you join the local union (UA Local 179) as a 1st Year Apprentice. Membership in the Local Sprinkler Union is a mandatory qualification to work on this project. We are looking for both Apprentices and licenced Fitters to join our existing team as they work on this project.
Q. ONCE THE PAVH PROJECT IS COMPLETED, WILL I BE ABLE TO REMAIN AN EMPLOYEE WITH CLASSIC FLS?
A. Classic FLS is a growing company with many opportunities for expansion in our sprinkler division. While there are no guarantees, we are hopeful that we will be able to retain some of the best new hires for full-time employment in one of our branch locations. We expect a lot of "spin-off" work to be generated as a result of the hospital's expansion and our company will be in a strong position to win that work as well.
