Toronto, September 3, 2024 – Classic Fire + Life Safety extends an official welcome today to the staff of Orangeville Fire Equipment into its growing family. Established in 1989 by Tom and Suzanne Turvill, the Orangeville-based company joined the Classic network in the fall of 2023.

“We could not be happier to fully unite with our colleagues who have serviced the Orangeville community and neighbouring regions so well for so many years,” says Francois Godin, CEO of Classic Fire + Life Safety. “Since getting the call from the founders back in 2023, it has been clear to us that our visions are aligned, and now we have become even more united in our commitment to protecting Canadian businesses from fire and accidents.”

Under the leadership of Jason Turvill, the Orangeville team has grown to include 14 members composed of licensed sprinkler fitters, CFAA-certified fire alarm technicians, factory-trained certified fire suppression and fire extinguisher technicians, and an electrician.

“Uniting brings forth countless advantages,” says Turvill. “We are happy to join the Classic team and to continue to leverage our respective experiences to assert our position as Canada’s premier fire protection company.”

All Orangeville Fire Equipment staff have been invited to remain with Classic and Jason Turvill will continue in his role as General Manager of the Orangeville branch.

The team will remain based out of its location at 245295 5th Sideroad in Amaranth, Ontario.
