September 9, 2025- Classic Fire + Life Safety, a Canadian leader in fire protection and life safety services, has named Lucy Machado Vice-President of Human Resources.
Machado brings more than 25 years of HR leadership experience in industries including pharmaceuticals and consulting. She will oversee all aspects of the company’s people and culture strategy, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, organizational development, total rewards and HR operations. A key member of the executive leadership team, Machado will guide efforts to strengthen culture and support the company’s long-term growth.

With 12 branches spread across Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta, the company employs more than 750 staff and has plans to further expand in 2026.

Machado said she will take a people-first, hands on approach to her role, rallying teams nationwide to prioritize safety.

Machado began her role on July 29.
