August 2022, Toronto/London, Ont. – Classic Fire + Life Safety announces today the appointment of Andy Mallon as its newest chief financial officer. Andy joins the growing fire and life safety company with close to 20 years of financial management experience in several industries including retail, wholesale distribution and financial consultancy.

 Andy’s career began overseas in the UK, working for KPMG in audit, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring.  In 2014 he relocated to Toronto, working for Wolseley Canada as a Finance Business Partner and later as a Finance Director.  Andy moved back to the UK in 2018 with Wolseley UK, before returning to Toronto in early 2020.  Prior to joining Classic Fire +Life Safety, Andy held the position of CFO for ONroute.

 Andy will oversee the finance, IT and support systems teams, and help drive financial reporting, controls, governance, and analytics for the Classic Fire + Life Safety group of companies.  He joined the company on July 22, 2022.

 Earlier this year, Classic Fire + Life Safety embarked on a recruitment campaign to fill a growing number of positions.  The company has surpassed its goal and currently has more than 20 open positions and has successfully filled 120 positions since January.  The growth is expected to continue to the end of the year.
